Meet My Nephew: “untitled”
At 2am on July 5th 2009, a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce baby was born. At about the same time, my sister Sharika was having a dream about visiting a newborn, located at hospital in Room 201. Now, where is the link? Well my sister Sacha, just had a baby! In a room located exactly where Sharika had dreamed it. The room number was different, however the number was 1002, which is pretty close if you reverse it and drop a ‘0′. I think its pretty cool. Anyway, today I met my nephew. He has no name yet, but I know he is in the hospital records already, possibly as a number. So… technically I think that makes him a statistic? I went to the hospital with Sharika and Sacha’s daughter Tajae, we all got a chance to hold him. He slept most of the time, but moved quite a bit too. I got to see his eyes, most times it was one at a time. I hope he’s a bit more awake for tomorrows football (*sigh*… soccer) training.
